so for today's wedding wednesday, i'm going to switch it up a bit..

i had seen this 'boyfriend tag' going around facebook, and thought it would be fun for randy and i to do!

(true for a cesar salad, but if it's a garden salad i'll get vinegrette)

random tidbits

some random questions, courtesy of tenpenny splendid:

1. what's a nickname only your family calls you?
my brother calls me "sister," which i think is adorable.
my grandma used to call me "sissy." when i hit about 13, he started getting worried that i'd think he was actually calling me a sissy, so he stopped doing it for a while.

2. what's a weird habit of yours?
i plan things non-stop. if you look at the calendar in my phone, you'll see that on february 6th, i'm due for a color treatment for my hair, and on march 10th, i'm supposed to clean out my closet. i've already picked out our save-the-date cards (with randy's approval, of course) even though we don't have a set date to save yet. my brain just prefers to stay busy.

3. what's a song you secretly love to blast & belt out when you're alone?
currently, the selena gomez song about loving you like a love song, baby. and i don't necessarily need to be alone. thank god i've locked randy in already..

4. what's one of your biggest pet peeves?
i have many, i'm sure. i don't like when people put food in the microwave but take it out before the timer has gone off and they don't clear it, so the microwave says 0:47 for hours.

5. what's one of your nervous habits?
i won't breathe in when i speak if i'm nervous, so by the 3rd sentence in i'm gasping for air like i've just come up from being under water.

6. what side of the bed do you sleep on?
the right side, if you're looking head-on at our bed. usually the very very right side, as lilly cuddles with me and takes up a lot of room, even though she's not a huge dog.

7. what was your first stuffed animal & its name?
i know i got a minnie mouse doll for my first birthday (i have a VHS to prove it..), but i doubt that was my very first stuffed animal. i remember being very young and having this frightening, huge pink bunny rabbit in my room that had to be removed because of the amount of nightmares it caused me to have.

8. what's the drink you always order at starbucks?
grande vanilla latte with an extra pumped (iced if we're having warm weather)

9. what's the beauty rule you preach but never actually follow?
i do give a lot of my friends beauty advise, but there's not really anything i say they must do that i myself in fact do not. i do wish i used an eye cream more regularly.

10. which way do you face in the shower?
either facing toward the shower head or away from it - never sideways!

11. do you have any 'weird' body 'skills'?
nothing really comes to mind. i used to be able to do the splits in high school, but those days are long gone.

12. what's your favorite 'comfort food'/food that's 'bad' but you love to eat it anyways?
lately i've been obsessed with coldstone ice cream. i get cake batter with gummy bears, and occasionally marshmallows. it's not to the point where it's become a problem yet, but i do daydream about it often.

13. what's a phrase or exclamation you always say?
i say that things or people are "driving me nuts" a lot. i also say "jeez louise" pretty frequently.

14. time to sleep - what are you actually wearing?
one of randy's old shirts and either sweat pants or shorts. if i think it's going to be really cold, i'll wear socks - which angers lilly, who loves to lick my feet under the covers.
