hair envy

i really wish i had the guts to do something like this to my hair:

i wish i had enough guts, and i also wish the maintenance wouldn't be such a pain in the ass!

i have a hair appointment on may 3rd for a cut & color (finally!! it's a little overdue..)
we have some events coming up in may, and my 'do needs to look hot to trot.

the last time i got my hair done, i went darker blonde a'la lauren conrad.

but i think i'm ready to go back to my usual lighter blonde. i'll say it's in preparation for spring/summer. what do you think?
